Are you ready for The Hartford Breast Cancer Ride? Did you take part in the first Ride back on June 21-22, 2008 as a Rider or Crew member? What are your memories of that Ride? Was it the extension loop on Day 1? The outstanding accommodations and food at Treasure Island Resort and Casino? The wacky, thirst-quenching pit stops? A particular hill, perhaps?
This is your place to reminisce or share any other thoughts you have about the Ride.
If you are returning for a second year, why? How did you hear about the Ride? Did you recruit others to join you? Did you form a team? This is a forum for you to sound off about all things related to The Hartford Breast Cancer Ride. We’d love to hear from you!

I participate in a lot of bike tours and last year my friend Gordy told me about the first ever Breast Cancer ride and asked if I wanted to do it with him. I was a little unsure as it was immediately following the MS150 ride and I needed to raise funds for that ride as well. After a little prodding I accepted the offer and am I ever glad I did. This was by far one of my favorite rides last summer. I loved every minute of it even the hills and the wind. The people were fantastic, the weather was perfect, I cannot complain at all. I am planning on riding again this year and hope to get more friends to join me. This is a fantastic ride and a fantastic cause.
